Bio/ Deep phyto Peel are based on the use of a natural ingredient called Spongilla fluviatilis. It is a silicon freshwater sponge with unique biological and therapeutic characteristics. The sponge itself consists of microscopic needles (spicules) that contain trace elements that are biocompatible with the human body – silicon, phosphorus and lime. Due to their size and structure, spicules are able to penetrate the dermis without hindrance and cause a chain of various biochemical reactions in all its layers. Subsequently, spicules disintegrate under the action of skin enzymes and trigger defence mechanisms – immunity, while increasing the level of leukocytes. Also, in the composition of the sponge, there is a unique protein called spongin, which is not found anywhere else in nature.
