Laser Application: • The ablative CO2 laser targets the surface of the skin to remove damaged layers and improve texture. • The non-ablative laser creates microscopic channels beneath the skin to stimulate collagen production and regeneration. • The depth and intensity are adjusted based on the treatment area and skin type. 3. Post-Treatment Care: • A soothing cream is applied, and aftercare instructions are provided. • There may be mild redness, swelling, or peeling for a few days as the skin heals. Your skin will feel hot after the treatment for a couple of hours. To minimize swelling, keep your head elevated while lying down by using one or two extra pillows. You may notice a faint “grid” texture on your skin when looking closely. This is completely normal and represents the areas treated by the laser, showing the precise pattern of the laser’s path. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, and avoid diuretics like alcohol or caffeine. If your skin feels tight or itchy, generously apply your prescribed soothing product as often as needed. Storing your moisturizer or sunscreen in the refrigerator can make application extra soothing. Your skin is highly sensitive and needs protection from the sun. Use a sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher, but only start applying it 24 hours after treatment to avoid blocking the laser-created channels. ​ DAILY CARE ROUTINE: 1. CLEANSING (FIRST WEEK) • Wash with Cetaphil/CeraVe 3 times a day. • Pat dry gently (do not rub or scrub). 2. SOAKING (FIRST WEEK OR UNTIL SCABBING STOPS) • Soak with a gentle Avene thermal water. • Soak a clean washcloth, wring out excess, and lay it over your face for 10-15 minutes. • This will dissolve crusting, prevent infection, and speed healing. • Never pick or scrub scabs! 3. MOISTURIZING • First 3 days: Apply throughout the day to keep skin moist. In between applications- spray the Thermal Water (if still feels dry) • After 3 days: Switch to a gentle, non-occlusive (light textured) moisturizer once peeling begins. • Once peeling is done: Start using sunscreen and regular moisturizer. WHAT TO EXPECT DURING HEALING 1. BURNING PHASE (FIRST 3 HOURS POST-PROCEDURE) • Skin feels hot – Use ice packs to cool and keep skin moist. 2. CRUSTING PHASE (DAYS 1-2) • Skin looks the worst at 48 hours. • Keep skin moist and continue soaking. 3. PEELING PHASE (DAYS 3-5) • Skin starts shedding. • Use complex moisturizers. • Avoid picking or peeling the skin manually! • Makeup (mineral-based only) is allowed after 3 days, but best to wait until peeling is done. 4. FINAL HEALING PHASE (DAYS 6-7) • Skin pink and healing. • Start long-term skincare and sun protection.

Initial redness lasts a few days, with full skin recovery over 1–2 weeks.
